Marmara University students, academic and administrative staff now have the opportunity to access the internet much faster and more efficiently with WiFi 6 technology in all campuses of the university.

With this new technology, fiber infrastructure was renewed in classrooms, open spaces, cafeterias, dormitories and all locations within the scope of the study in Marmara University campuses, and the wired network infrastructure was improved and wireless network capacity was increased by converting the network topology to "Star Topology".

Renovation work carried out by the Rectorate and Student Affairs, Library, Institutes and Departments, Özmen Aktar and Handan Ertuğrul Student Dormitory, Mehmet Cengiz Building, Mehmet Calligraphy Building, Honorary Kigili and Library Building, Mosque and Foyer Area, Faculty of Dentistry; It also includes the renewal of all Access Points in the exteriors of Göztepe and Bağlarbaşı Campuses. “Wifi 6” technology was adopted at these locations. Wireless network capacity in the exteriors of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Atatürk Faculty of Education, School of Foreign Languages, Ömer Halis Demir Sports Hall, Student Dining Hall, Distance Education Center, Müsem - Accounting - Revolving Fund, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Sports Sciences, Faculty of Political Sciences and Anadolu Campus. increased and the wired infrastructure improved.
