MISSION

To provide the necessary information services and the support of these services in order to operate the information processing system with ethical and universal values in the local framework, to support activities in education, education, research and development and scientific fields; it is to build with a fast, efficient and quality service understanding, ensuring security and updatability, and ensuring that the computing services needed by our university units, staff and students are effectively and consistently delivered by adopting the corporate efficiency principle.

Duties, Authorities and Responsibilities;

• The Department of Information Technologies fulfills the duties of ensuring that the academic-administrative staff and students of our university use the developing information and communication technologies at the highest level.
• Ensuring the continuity of the university's communication and network infrastructure,
• Provision of Internet-based services (web, e-mail, distance education...)
• Managing, monitoring and tracking existing systems (Server, Router, Switch...)
• Ensuring the security of network systems,
• To be involved in Research and Development activities,
• To share the knowledge and experience with all organs of the university,
• Providing support and guidance to the projects that the university needs,
• To ensure that our university has a voice in the international arena by raising our contemporary education level by using information and communication technologies.
• To ensure that all programs used in our university are run on the same database, that these programs are integrated with each other, and that the programs in use are organized in line with the changing laws, statutes and regulations and presented in the most efficient way.
• In the field of informatics; By having hardware, software and data communication units within its structure, it follows technological developments in accordance with its vision, mission and strategy, and offers the necessary information services to the service of our university by making the necessary analyzes in line with the development of technology.
