- In accordance with the E-Mail Usage Policy, opening and using e-mails to real or legal persons (unit e-mails, event e-mails, etc.), following the problems and ensuring the implementation of solutions,
- To serve all staff and students registered in the system in accordance with the e-mail usage policy,
- To provide e-mail client programme support to university academic and administrative staff,
- Carrying out university mass mail operations (sending mass mail to lists such as marmara, academic, student, etc.) (if there is a request to announce it on the web in addition to mass mail in the official request letter, to carry it out),

The duties and authorities of the EBYS Support Unit are as follows:
- To identify problems that arise while using EBYS, to eliminate the problem via telephone, electronic media or remote connection if it is caused by user error, to take the necessary data and screenshots if it is not caused by user error, to forward them to the relevant units and to ensure the necessary coordination with the relevant units,
- To provide solution-oriented support by evaluating the problems, requests and opinions of end-users regarding EBYS, and to notify the relevant unit or personnel about the issues that are outside its authority,
- Providing feedback by evaluating the errors, problems, requests and opinions reported by end users via e-mail, telephone and Support System regarding EBYS,
- To carry out and control the authorization procedures of users registered in EBYS,
- To provide general information in line with the requests received from users related to EBYS,
- Evaluating software error and correction requests and directing them to the Software Branch Directorate when necessary,

- To ensure the continuous publication and updating of the university home page. (To ensure that the menu information is updated according to the letters received from official channels.)
- To meet the web page site opening requests from the units of our university via EBYS,
- To manage the web page of the Department of Information Technologies.
- To support and manage the websites within the university.
- National / International symposiums, congresses, seminars, workshops, etc. In the light of the information received from official channels regarding the events, to open the web space and e-mail account if requested and to authorise the responsible.
- To evaluate the club website requests of the Student Clubs of our university in the light of the information received from the official ways, to open the web space and club e-mail address if requested in addition, and to inform the advisor.
