What is Vetis?

It is a tool that allows them to access national or international electronic databases used in universities and research centers from outside the campus, quickly, easily and safely.

VETIS delivers these resources without proxy, VPN or any additional settings, users do not deal with the details.

How do I use it?

Those who want to connect to databases with VETIS are linked to databases through the University library.

Users registered to Yordam Library Information Document Automation can log in with their username and password, and in universities where SINGLE PASSWORD is used, you can log in by pressing the "Log In" button with the username and password given to you.

Those who are not registered in the Library Automation System can register to the system by clicking the "Sign Up" button and filling in the necessary information. After this process, they can activate the account and log in by clicking on the activation link sent to their corporate e-mail address.

After login, you can use the databases.

Who Can Benefit?

VETIS can be used by users at the university who are registered to Yordam Library Information Document Automation (students, faculty members, staff, etc.) and anyone who has a corporate e-mail, has registered and completed its activation.

In addition, external users who are allowed to use databases by the university and registered by the library can use VETIS.

Privileges

Your privacy is always protected at VETIS.

With VETIS's "Smart Masking System", your personal data is prevented from flowing through library proxies.

It is possible to access all integrated library management automation systems without requiring any additional password.

In this way, it provides the convenience of accessing information regardless of time and place.

Users can easily and securely connect and do their research on/off campus with a single password.

In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law, no records are kept of the keywords people search for.

VETIS automatically makes the necessary connection settings for you to connect to databases.

It allows you to connect to the system and remotely access databases without requiring any proxy adjustments.

It allows you to perform versatile analysis for users and databases.

Institutions can easily analyze the advanced statistical capabilities provided by Vetis and the services they provide to identify user trends and potentials.

It allows you to view daily user and content traffic data.

NOTE:

It is sufficient to have an e-mail with the extension "[at]marmara.edu.tr" or "[at]marun.edu.tr" so that you can use the system. You can receive your e-mail at hesap.marmara.edu.tr.

Your input corporate eposta is with (marmara/marun) and password. ( You must have updated your corporate eposta in the BYS system in addition. BYS > Name Click on surname > change to eposta > Input in corporate eposta. )
