The aim of the Information Security Management System studies within the scope of ISO 27001 is to ensure information security management, secure risk management, measure the performance of information security management processes, and regulate relations with third parties regarding information security issues in the IT services of Marmara University's Information Processing Department.

In this context, following the determination of the Information Security Management System's compliance with the ISO/IEC 27001 standard during the 2nd Surveillance Audit conducted on December 4-5, 2025, the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Information Security Management Certificate, approved by the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and the Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK), has been renewed.
