Email Retrieval Processes for Students

Students can create corporate email accounts by continuing through the Information Management System (https://bys.marmara.edu.tr), My Profile Information-Email Operations menu, "Create Now" tab.

Students who have previously forgotten the e-mail account and have problems entering their account should recreate BYS passwords from the Profile Information/Change Password tab at bys.marmara.edu.tr and provide access to their postal addresses with this password.

NOTE: Students who have never registered with BYS before (https://bys.marmara.edu.tr) click here to create your first password. they can make their records by clicking on the link. And the students who have forgotten their password, can get their new password through the link I don't remember my password. In the event of any problems with the BYS, students can contact the OBYS (Student BYS) unit of their connected units to check their information and update a problem if any. In the event that no solution can be reached by the, they can request assistance by submitting their problems by submitting a request to "OBYS SUPPORT" at https://destek.marmara.edu.tr/

The e-mail quota for students is 2 GB. The maximum sending capacity of an e-mail with attachments is 40 MB.

You won't be able to receive emails until you have enough space in your quota, and people who send you emails will receive a warning that their message cannot be delivered because your quota is full.

NOTE: The settings described in this address are for staff e-mail (@marmara.edu.tr). Likewise, when making client settings in student e-mails (@marun.edu.tr), the settings should be made in the same way by replacing the parts that say marmara with marun. (Ex: Incoming server address: posta.marun.edu.tr, Outgoing server address: posta.marun.edu.tr, etc.).

The session duration is 40 minutes after web-based access of our university's e-mail addresses with @marun extension. After 40 minutes, the session is automatically terminated.

Yes, you must have an BYS account to perform all these operations. You cannot perform these operations without your BYS username and password. • Daily  :20  mail sending quota is applied to the person. 

• You should log in to your student email address via the posta.marun.edu.tr page.

• If you have attempted to log in incorrectly three times in a row, your login might be blocked for about 15 minutes. If you receive such a warning, you can wait for the specified time to pass and then continue with the login process.
