If you have these Turkish characters ğ, Ğ, ç, Ç, Ç, Ş, Ş, ü, Ü, Ü, ö, Ö, Ö, ı, İ in your BYS and mail password and you have problems resetting your mail password and logging in to your mail, please recreate a new password from the "Marmara Account Management System" that does not contain these characters. Because if you do not change your password containing these characters, when you try to log in to your e-mail, the system cannot detect this character and gives an error. It automatically encodes the UTF-8 Display equivalents of Turkish characters in the table. In this way, the Turkish characters you give will be recognized as another character and your login will not be realized.

* It is essential to use special characters when creating your BYS and mail password. For this * ? ! . you can use these special characters. Apart from these characters, most characters (some of them are: [ ' ^ + % & / { ( ) ] = } \ | ~ ¨ ` ; , : - etc.) may cause you to be unable to perform transactions (not being able to log in to the mail or not being able to create an account or reset the password at hesap.marmara.edu.tr due to the BYS password). In this regard, please take care to create your passwords in the format in the example below.

* In addition, please make sure that your passwords have at least 8 characters for your security. (Make sure that your password has at least 1 uppercase and lowercase letter, 1 number and one of the special characters * . ! ? special characters in your password. When connecting to networks such as wifi, eduroam, etc., mails whose password is not in this way are not allowed to connect to the network.)
